I’m an Emmy, Juno, and CSA nominated composer/songwriter /producer and I make music and sounds for cartoons, live action, and albums. I also love to help others make their creates come true and I’ve worked on or with Juno/Emmy/Grammy/CSA nominated albums, shows, or artists in different genres.

As a multi-instrumentalist I’ve toured playing in many bands in many different styles. From drums to pedal steel to bass to tambourine, I’ve played to crowds of 5 friends in coffeeshops to festivals of over 24 thousand.

As an engineer I’ve recorded, mixed, or mastered everything from Grind Core to Free Jazz. My recent work on albums (as producer, mixer, etc) has garnered 7 Juno nominations in last 3 years. Similar to my composing / songwriting, my music mixes have appeared on Disney, Sesame, HBO, Nickelodeon, CBS, CBC, Crave, Netflix. etc.

  • Thomas and Friends

    I ‘m lucky enough to write songs for this children’s television staple. My favourite song for this is the “Super Train” song, because all the kids sang it so well!

  • Denis and Me

    This is a very silly show and they really let me go nuts. Lady Barksalot is my spirit animal.

  • Humour Resources

    This is a show that brought me a lot of joy to work on, it starred one of my oldest pals the great Jon Dore and many of my favourite comedians. There are some sweet jams in here, I like the song (I sang in Italian) in Ep 06 and the “Je Suis un Chat” in Ep 02. The Score was also nice cause I got to play a lot of pedal steel and Americana stuff as well as some fun orchestra stuff.

  • Esme and Roy

    This was a cool co-production between HBO and Sesame Workshop and Nelvana. I wrote many songs, but I got to write a few lullaby, and that’s always fun. My friend Jonathan Evans did the score.

  • Bagle and Becky

    This was the first show I did complete score for, Dave Cooper and Michelle Melanson Cuperus took a chance and I thank them very much for hiring me. It featured the voices of a couple fun comedians Kevin McDonald (hero) and Nikky Payne.

  • Pig Goat Banana Cricket

    Dave Cooper kindly asked me to write songs for his Nickelodeon show, and let me tell you, I still remember the elation I felt when they sent me a contract and the cover letter was Nick Orange with “Happy Happy Joy Joy”. I made great friends on this show and had my songs sung by VO Legends:: John DiMaggio, Candi Milo. Paul Rugg, and so many more.

  • Go Away, Unicorn!

    This was super fun to make, it was a small tight crew and they gave me freedom to do the dumbest things. It was a hoot to have something on Disney.

  • Jeremy and Jazzy

    I got to help my best friend Jeremy on his new show. He looks exactly the same in real life. It’s really fun to work with Jeremy because he’s so very smart and I learn something every time we do something.

It’s True - You Can Hire Me!

Mixing music is super fun, you get to mash science and feelings together in a creative way.

Do you have things that need to be mixed? I can do that!

I love to play instruments: some I can play quite well, some I can play well-enough, others I can program until you find someone who can Really play it.

I’m also not a crappy singer. I have a very “blend-y” voice, so i’m a good second banana. I can do tight and precise harmony backgrounds (I have about a 4 octave range, on a good day) or I can be a fake group of kids screaming some BGs. I’ve also sung on TV theme songs and feature songs and of course at shows and festivals and all that.

Maybe you need some sounds on your sweet hits? I can friggin do that!
